Join us this year as we celebrate the 250th Anniversary of our Nation!
Each year, on the third Saturday of May, Kent Island Day commemorates the founding of Kent Island in 1631 with a parade down Main Street, historic exhibits, displays, musical entertainment, activities, food, vendors, costumes, activities for kids and crafts. Check out our photo gallery below!

Everyone enjoys being outside on a gorgeous day in historic downtown Stevensville for the parade and festival.
"WHO's that?" Staff from the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center showed off a beautiful spotted owl.
Vendors of all kinds are invited to participate in the festival. Here Chris Martin Decoys of Church Hill, Maryland displays quality handmade wooden waterfowl and shorebird decoys carved in the Eastern Shore tradition.
