Kent Island Day


  • Each year, Kent Island Day commemorates the founding of Kent Island in 1631 with a parade down Main Street, historic exhibits, displays, activities, food, vendors, costumes, activities for kids and crafts. Visit our Getting Here page for directions to Historic Stevensville, Maryland.

    Participate as a Vendor, Nonprofit, Artisan or Author

  • To participate as an artisan, nonprofit organization, food vendor or to sell your wares at a vendor booth at Kent Island Day, download the appropriate form below.
  • Kindly follow the instructions on the form and mail back to the address provided along with your payment to participate in this year's festival.

  • Everyone enjoys being outside on a gorgeous day in historic downtown Stevensville for the parade and festival.
  • "WHO's that?" Staff from the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center showed off a beautiful spotted owl.
  • Vendors of all kinds are invited to participate in the festival. Here Chris Martin Decoys of Church Hill, Maryland displays quality handmade wooden waterfowl and shorebird decoys carved in the Eastern Shore tradition.
